LIMITED WARRANTY

Kohler plumbing fixtures and fittings are warranted free of manufacturing defects from a set period from the date of purchase.

Kohler Branded Products 
Vitreous China 1 year
Tapware and Accessories 1 year
Vanity Units 1 year
Bathroom Furniture 1 year
Acrylic 5 years
Showering 5 years
Single Lever Basin Mixers 10 years

Kohler Co. will at its election, pursuant to its obligations under this warranty, repair, replace or make appropriate adjustment where Kohler Co. inspection discloses defects occurring in normal usage subject to the terms and conditions stated below:

  1. This warranty applies only within the Commonwealth of Australia and only to the original purchaser.
  2. The following will be not be covered by warranty:
    • Damage due to accident, improper installation or handling, faulty repairs, alteration, abuse or misuse;
    • Installed, maintained or used other than in accordance with the instructions furnished by Kohler Co.
    • Brass or gold plated fittings (Water quality varies widely throughout Australia and may adversely affect gold plating or the protective acrylic coating on brass) and
    • Cistern washers or rubbers
  3. The purchaser shall be responsible for and shall meet all charges in respect of making the defective plumbing fixture accessible for repair or replacement and any labour, transportation, travelling or communication expenses incurred.
  4. Standard quality fixtures may contain unavoidable manufacturing imperfections of a minor character.

Please be sure to provide all pertinent information regarding your claim, including a complete description of the problem, the product, model number, colour, the date the product was purchased and from whom the product was purchased. Also include your original invoice. For other information, or to obtain the name and address of the service and repair facility nearest you, Australian customers phone 1300 362 284 and New Zealand customers phone 0800 100 382.

The purchaser’s attention is drawn to the rights, conditions, warranties and liabilities conferred or implied by Australian Commonwealth and State Legislation., but subject thereto, and to the extent allowed there under, the above warranty is in lieu of all rights, conditions, warranties and liabilities, whether expressed or implied, including, without in any way limiting the generality of the foregoing, any implied warrant or merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose.

Kohler Co. accepts no liability for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, of or to any person or property arising from the supply, installation, operation or repair of its plumbing fixtures and fittings, including consequential loss or damage arising from breakdown or failure to perform.
